I've shown this little cartoon to no less than 6 coworkers and all said the same thing.. Not funny.. or they didn't understand why ordering a water TOO (also) would kill the guy..

These are all college educated IT Professionals from at least 4 different countries of origin..
none got it till I explained it to them..

The joke is a total epic fail. for reasons myself and others have written above.

I'm merely pointing out we are very educated people with degrees and are all 30-50 years old and we don't see the humor or fail to understand the lame delivery.

Sorry to disappoint haven't worked in a call center since 1997.
Microsoft Certified Systems Admin w/Cisco certs here with 12 years exp working in Oil and Gas environment. ( in Networking/Server department now)

Hey funny story: I showed it to some of my co workers. One is a Network Admin with 8 years with MS and Cisco Certs another is the Infrastructure Manager with 22 years of exp and more certs than I can be bothered to list. They thought it was funny.

Even funnier side note - I showed this to some Chemists (I only work with about 200 of them or so) and they thought it was funny too!

I asked some Java and Oracle developers too. In total I asked 8 people and 8 found it funny

We can either assume that your anecdotal evidence means nothing or my numbers > your numbers which makes this funny.

If you want I can expand it to more IT workers/chemists/other highly educated professionals from 32 countries around the world
