Did you give it a shot yet?

Just did now, not too impressive (only 22 feet) but I will post anyway. Just making the video now. It's more then just a paper airplane, those are boring. :p

Edit: Video is rendering now, then I will upload to youtube.

I hope WMG does not remove the video because I used avatar music. :p

Ok got carried away with other stuff, but here is the video:

Wanted to add more in the description but I guess you can't edit those anymore once it's posted. Just says "unknown video". This was actually quite improvised, it's basically the 2nd try. Could of made it go right at the end of the crawlspace I'm sure.

I'm planning to start up the poll threads Sunday afternoon or evening.

If you want to submit an entry, please do so by noon Sunday.

All participants, please think about what you'd like to do for the next challenge in your category if you win.

Any last minute entries?

Well if there's one thing I learned from the Creative Challenge this week, it's that it takes a mighty skilled pilot to fly these contraptions indoors. In the engineering challenge, I looked at my options and since I didn't have an air compressor, it would come down to piloting skill. Who could I recruit for this challenge?

I only found three volunteers to offer their services. Rather than choosing one for this challenge, I divided my paper into four pieces and went from there.

Our three pilots took shape

Then for the aircraft...
1/4 of a sheet of paper each to make them.

Ok, it turns out that they didn't do very well. Pedobear was clearly the worst. Maybe that's why he bailed out to much in the Creative Challenge entries. Jello and Dug777 didn't fare much better.

What a great way to spend a Sunday :p
