Well you just didn't give away one of the questions to anyone else who reads this thread, but most of those types of questions can be figured out by looking at the roots.

I've been enjoying the quizzes and I don't mind not doing well when I don't know the answers, but I'm still aggravated over the last two games because I should have gotten all 10 both times and ended up getting 9 instead. There's nothing more annoying than going to check your score and seeing that you missed a question that you should have gotten right. On one quiz, I knew that Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President, but for some reason I chose another one. And on the other quiz, it asked for the antonym for defeat and I knew I was supposed to choose the opposite which was obviously victory, but again, for some reason I chose a different answer.

I still wouldn't have won either of those challenges because my times are always longer, I don't know how some of you guys scroll through those questions so fast, but it still bugs me. Guess I'll just chalk it up to old age.

It's still fun though, thanks for coming up with this DrPizza.

Sure, I suck at them (moreso music) but it's fun to have a variety.

I don't like the idea of specific categories, but i see why we'd want to have them. my suggestions would include like specific countries..like US, Canada or Continents like Asia, or Africa. Those kind of things will truly test the knowledge of all of us. Maybe a geography category or something.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Heh. I only knew 1 of today's and guessed on the other 9. Only 1 of the guesses was right. A crappy 2 out of 10 today.

Guessed every damn one of them. I had some reasoning behind most of the guesses, so I guess you could call them educated guesses... I got really lucky to get the 6 that I got.

Music category strikes again. I knew a few of them, but guessed on more than i knew. I kinda like this category...cause no one knows it. lol

I suck at the music ones but it adds some variety to it. Maybe you could put the music one a level below "Difficult" for the difficulty level, DrPizza, and see how that works out?

Agreed, that's why I asked above if people wanted to keep the music category. Everyone seems to be guessing on the majority of questions.

I'm in favor of ditching the music category. Most of the questions are song lyrics... bad trivia questions.
