Sigh... I buried myself in Project Gotham Racing all night last night to avoid thinking about my cravings... My son kept asking if I was sick... I have a good headache this morning... Other than that everything is peachy! 🙂
I'm beginning to shake the blue funk that has been keeping me down the last few days... last night was good... my wife seems to think that a nicotine free me is hot 😉... I told her that i'll accept all the accolades that she feels is necessary to bestow... you know... for the cause. 😀
I read something a while ago about how there is this certain stuff your brain produces (seratonin maybe?) and when there's a lack of that you get pissy. Cigarettes also contain this, so your brain stops producing as much as it needs to keep you happy. Fortunately, it's also in sunflower seeds...so you might want to start snacking on those.
DON"T DRINK....that will also make you want a cig and your will power to resist will be lowered. And well running would help but lets face facts your a smoker you wouldn't make it a mile...try pushups instead. Something else you can do is carry arround a cig box with only one smoke in it. That way when you get the desire to smoke just look at the pack an remember that if you don't smoke that one cig thats left in the pack you will make it. I say this because when it comes down to it it is just that one cig that will make the difference between being a smoker and a healthy person.
I would hate to get banned or even worse... hated... just because I suck at quitting bad habits. 🙁
I will just continue on like I am... cutting myself with a dull butterknife... and sticking pins through my fingernails until the withdrawls subside. jk
<< And well running would help but lets face facts your a smoker you wouldn't make it a mile... >>
Believe it or not, I ran a mile last night... it sucked 🙁 but I did make it... I am just stuck at work on a dull day... that is what is making it hell. 🙁
I made it through the weekend without much problem... I was a bit irritable, but hey I made it.
It's kinda strange, I have been feeling spectacular in the mornings... hopping outta bed and hitting the floor running. Then as the day goes on I am feeling the withdrawls more and more. Has anybody else had this happen to them?
Try not to think how good a smoke would be right now. Just remember, that craving you have will be gone in 6 to 8 months down the road and you can deal with being a nervous wreck until then.
<< Actually the withdrawl isn't making me nervous... just violent. >>
Dude face reality, you are a weak Puke. You can't even quit this place , what makes you think you have what it takes to quit smoking? I give you 3 months tops before you are puffing away at your cancer sticks (this reverse phsycology for all you assbites who are going to whine about my posts)
