If you are like me you rewatch movies from time to time. This thread is for those movies you have rewatched and want to recommend. Or, conversely, warn the masses that a particular movie doesn't stand the test of time.

To start, I have just rewatched Fargo. It's still an awesome movie. Even when its just showing the day to day routine of its stars it holds my attention.

Frances McDormand totally nails it as a small town sheriff in the frozen wastelands of our northern friends. Steve Buscemi as "the little guy" turns in a masterful performance.

The scene with the two hookers being interviewed by McDormand is a classic.

Rewatch rating (out of ten) 8.5 stars.

I usually hate to rewatch movies, but some titles I like to rewatch are Heat, Scarface, The Godfather, Goodfellas and just about any of the Scorsese crime/gangster flicks.

I've watched the tent scene in BBM 30-35 times, and it is still terrible.

Big Trouble in Little China. Funny when it's trying to be and even funnier when it isn't. 8/10.
It's worth watching just to see the range of actors that could play "Chinese" in the 80s.

That's two very different movies.

I re-watch movies all the time. I recently re-watched the first two Robocop movies (I watched the 3rd one for the first time)and Starship Troopers. Starship Troopers is the best of that bunch; so awesome and hilarious.

I also re-watched Cop Land a short while ago. Love that movie and was happy to see it still holds up.

Too many others to list them all, but I love re-watching movies.

O Brother Where Art Thou?
most Pixar movies
Starship Troopers
The Fifth Element
Blues Brothers
Caddyshack
Animal House
Pretty much any Marx brothers movie
Se7en
Silence of the Lambs
Evil Dead (the new one)
Zombieland

It's like finding a good roller coaster, you know where the curves, and drops are but you still enjoy the ride.

Super Troopers and Blazing Saddles.

I just rewatched Usual Suspects and I didn't really enjoy it after already knowing the twist.

Not me. I've tried (watched) that movie 3 different times and still don't like it. I know it's popular but I just can't get into it.

There is something about this movie (that isn't Sigorney Weaver's cleavage) that just makes me like it.

It's just a fun movie. Probably helps that is is basically a very well done parody of a known genre.

I've never seen it but after House of Cards I think I will try it. Spacey is just amazing in Cards.

I like Kevin Spacey too. He is great in The Negotiator (with Sam Jackson) which is one of my rewatch movies listed.

You should abandon thread until you've seen it. If possible you don't want to expose yourself to any spoilers.

I thought it was a great movie, I just didn't enjoy rewatching it.
