Managed to get through my night shift without feeling like I'm going to fall asleep. Been up for almost 24h too. Going to sleep well that's for sure.

Was a pretty busy night too, but maybe that kind of helped make it go faster.
 
Oh no. It looks like we lost one of the raccoon cubs. I'm probably anthropomorphizing (pauses to take breath) but I think the momma was rejecting one of the cubs.

That sort of makes sense. Having 4 kids around here isn't a great idea. I don't think there's much around here to eat. I guess on some level they can sense that. Even the cats don't have big litters. Two or three kittens max and it seems like only one in some cases.
