Lol that scared the crap out of me. I'm doing testing of an inverter over time so I have a small space heater plugged in to it, doubles as a source of heat for me.

I forgot that thing has a fan, and it kicked on for the first time ever. That sudden unknown noise caught me off guard.

Trying to revive a ni-mh 9 volt battery. Probably futile attempt, but figured why not. I have a variable power supply now may as well make some use of it. The battery reads 0 volts but when I apply power to it, it does draw current. So putting 200ma into it and will see what happens. Hopefully not explode.

Popped the 9v battery when I tried to put 1 amp into it for a few minutes too many. Was worth a shot.

Pretty sure it was dead no matter what, it was basically just acting like a resistor, not taking a charge at all while drawing current.
