Been watching it with the gf. We both like it so far. About 6 episodes in and we have a date to watch a couple more tomorrow night. It's not an action packed show, it's slow and character driven show, but fucked up shit does happen. Will be watching until the end
I made it to Episode 4 a few days ago. It's an annoying series. Not for it's ultra liberal world, but the fact that there's no guns. Nope. Only the weird chick has the lone knife. So, these thespians survive the pandemic and none of them has a firearm. If I was one of those survivors, I sure as hell would be armed with my firearms. It doesn't seem realistic, even if I'm picking up anything that the director is trying to do. Even without guns, there'd be other weapons that mankind would fashion. It's in our nature to fight over scarce resources.

Meh Amazon:

Mrs was looking for bread boxes. And this is 'Amazon's Choice' for Bread Boxes by OUTSHINE. Not just bread boxes, but only the ones from OUTSHINE. They've been doing this lately. Putting up this little bits as if this IS Amazon's Choice, but making it specific to every company (AKA, making it meaningless). That people fall for this is scary.

That's probably why it's enjoyable to me. A post apocalyptic setting not filled with mostly action and shooting.

Or maybe it's after everyone ran out of bullets.

Either way it's focusing on other things. I find it a pleasant change of pace.

I understand what the director is trying to do, but find it totally unrealistic. These are the least prepared people for survival. The would be eaten alive by other groups that also survived.

I've been doing some data migration this evening. I ran out of space on the drive I download TV shows to. LOL

you know you can set a different drive for downloading right? I have a dedicated scratch drive, then the stuff gets moved automatically after the download is completed.
Same, I have a decent sized boot partitions (games are huge these days) and the same sized scratch drive (1TB) for downloads, VMs, temporary data backups when I'm screwing with MS Outlook, etc.
