Just spent three hours shooting dinasaurs in Second Extinction.
I generally 'eschew' FPS games, but then in most cases I'm trying blow a zombie's head off or something. I''ve never had that kind of hand-eye coordination. Well, I WAS a con-ten-da for Space Invaders champion except at the contest they expected us to use f***ing Nintendo. May you and your next seven generations have webbed fingers and toes.

What I wanted to say is that if I have big enough targets moving slowly enough, I don't mind a little FPS action from time to time.

What was I here to say? Oh, yes. Thank you sleepy neurons. Most days I wake up and everything is mostly intact. Then there ones like today where I wake up cold and in pain to find my soft, fuzzy blankie on the floor, faux sheepskin side up and the sheet either also on the floor or keeping a knee and shoulder "warm."

I do love MSNBC, mostly, and especially the ahem ones from the GOP that have survived graduated from Biden's re-education camps. Hahahaha. But some of those would survive at most, 15 minutes upon arriving in the 13th century.

Where is your king?
Why are there suffering peasants. [stepping back] Stinking, shit-covered peasants who don't seem to grok modern English.
Wait, it's almost sunset. Why are they grabbing pitchforks and hoes (not that kind).

What is it with women and shoes? We had some freezing rain this morning. My wife heads out and complains about it being slippery. I suggest putting appropriate winter footwear on would help. She retorts that her shoes are not the problem.

I've always wondered about that myself. However . . .

I walk around most of the year in Gumbies flip-flops. At least until it gets down into the 30's w/o windchill. I could explain but let's just I'm a bit vain.
Stupid cold wet morning Nef. Achy joints, bleh.
Right shoulder is possessed. Virtually all of the time it's fine except when the demons get restless. They mostly sleep but when they get grouchy . . . .

The thing I love about closed captions (CC) is that I constantly check my hearing. I need hearing aids to talk to people in a normal volume. I don't like wearing them at home. I've very sure I could get over that but if I understand dialog without them, groovy.

I can't get away with increasing the volume too much though. I have the equalizer set to max boost on anything higher than I think 500hz - which is also boosted. But I'm still very sensitive to the lower range.

I started listening to music 'bare back' so to say and I finally, finally noticed the bass line. OMG, what a revelation.

Glad I don't need hearing aides - at least yet. Good odds, as my brother is having zero problems. I was exposed to some loud industrial noise in my 20's and played guitar too loud in the same timeframe, so my right ear is a bit iffy.

Lots of bad stuff. Plus the beeties. The one I will always remember was standing on something about 1-2 feet away from the speaker stack at a concert. I want to say Starship but not sure. That would have to fall under rubric, 'very bad.'
