I thought you used metric in Canada.

Lumber unfortunately is all imperial so I tend to use imperial on the main plans as the standard lengths of lumber dictate certain things to save on cutting. If I'm measuring something to see how much I have to cut I tend to use metric though, it's just easier to remember something like 120.4cm vs some fraction crap.
