I kinda hope my company gets us to work from home. They are looking at preparing for the possibility, by making sure we can VPN in and all that, and figuring out what to do for phones. I don't think it's actually going to happen but it would be pretty cool.

Would be awesome if it somehow turned into a permanent thing where they are willing to let people work from home on an ongoing basis. I would definitely buy an off grid property at that point and look towards moving there. Would be awesome to make my current salary but have hardly no costs of living. Don't know how well satellite internet would work for my job though...

They would need to upgrade our phone system for the phone to work, but chances are they would do some kind of forward to our cell or something or setup some kind of softphone.

I think the easiest would be to upgrade the whole office to IP phones, then technically those should work over a VPN if you put a 2nd nic in the computer.

Covfefe nef.

Feels weird being up this early on a day I don't work, but kinda nice to know I have a full day ahead.

Booking for the dates I wanted a cabin started today at 7:00am so had to get up to snipe it as I missed out yesterday on other dates I wanted. Managed to book it this morning. Basically I wanted the start of a week in August but missed out. The end of that week opened today.

Woah my company's shares tanked. Was at like 62ish as week ago and now it's down to 50.

You would think telecommunications would not really get affected by this. As long as they don't start doing any mass layoffs I'm not really worried though it will bounce back. Just means my ESPP is going to be doing good for a little while buying at a lower price.

I hope my sister texts me soon... she wanted me to help with something but I'm hoping to be able to go earlier. I hate having to leave the house when I'm in the middle of something so I just want to get it over with so I can start on what I was planing to work on.

Don't worry. They eventually put them back in the cooler for you to pick them up at your convenience.

Unfortunately the handling, storage, and climate control fees tend to cost about the same as buying new.

That said, surprised the receipt checkers didn't catch it...that's actually part of why they're there.

Lol they eyeball, they don't actually flip through the stuff. Bought a bunch of cloth and she didn't bother to flip through them.

not that I would play it. I don't get FPS on console, it is impossible.
