Just got back from a long walk. I'm out of shape. I started it off with a run around the track and had to stop half way. Too much poutine. Need to quit that stuff man. A few years ago I could run the track in a bit under a minute. Challenged two of my nephews for a race and won :p.

After that run I went to walk around 10 or so km. Hard to tell as I did not measure but I think with the markings on the trail and such it came up to around 10km if I add it up.

Pooped right out now. Today was my workout day... think I'll count that as my workout. I need to do more cardio though.

time to check the wallwarts, maybe I'll just get a 240v input 12vdc output transformer, easier to just wire each external hdd to one central power anyway.

Kinda a hack, but you could try to get a 120v pure sine inverter and have it run straight off the battery bank of the UPS. Assuming it's true dual conversion that should work. Probably uses 48v. Actually since these take external battery packs it might just be the thing of getting the proper connector for it and then wiring the inverter straight in the end of the daisy chain.
