A moth flew into my ear today. It took about an hour and a half to drive to the drugstore to fetch the paraphernalia necessary to extract it. I can’t say I recommend having a moth wiggling in your ear canal for an hour and a half. It’s damn annoying. It’s like someone slapping the mic every few seconds the whole time. This wasn’t some little gnat but a full size moth. I thought my wife was going to puke when she saw it after I got it out. She had looked in my ear when it was in there and spotted nothing because it was buried so deeply in the ear. She has never seen Wrath of Khan so she didn’t know what to expect.

Oh man when I was a kid I had a bug fly directly in my ear, most scary thing ever especially not knowing what kind (ex: if it bites or otherwise can damage my ear drum). It eventually was coaxed to get out but that was not a fun experience at all. What would be a crappy way to permanently lose hearing in one ear.

I was planing to do a workout today but we had a union meeting and now it's kind of late.

I should do that now anyway. Didn't even eat yet, I can just make it quick given it's been a few months, and eat after.

Lol nice. Wish I had a way to get stuff like that here. Shipping is too expensive for second hand stuff. Cheaper to buy new off Tigerdirect, Newegg etc as those sites usually charge low shipping or even free shipping.

I do want to upgrade my UPS at some point but I want to do a 48v dual conversion setup and add some solar to it. That money can go towards other things though... so been hanging on to my 750w inverter-charger setup for now.

I only have two 120v 20a circuits like a peasent.

To make matters worse the entire sub panel feeding that and the entire basement is on a 15 amp breaker. I don't have enough room in my main to run a conduit so I plan to swap it out at some point.
