Missed the moonar eclipse. It sure was shining brightly through the windows last night, but I didn't look out the window at the sky.

Car would not start this morning but managed to boost it up and make it to work on time. My block heater cord is messed up and it's too cold to replace it. The issue is it won't plug in, it's too corroded. For tonight I managed to file it down and get it in with lot of force. Just hope I'll be able to take it out tomorrow morning... if not I'll have to cut it. I'll probably just cut the extension cord and put a new end on it and call it a day.

Shotgun mic came in. This thing is bigger than the camera lmao.

I guess it's kinda official at this point I'm going to get into vlogging. :p I went with some chinese rip off, and not Rode though. I'll see how this mic holds up. No point in spending big bucks until I decide to fully follow through with this and don't just get bored.

Need to figure out how to mount it though, was thinking of using super glue to put a horeshoe mount on top of the camera but not sure if that would be strong enough. It takes a decent amount of force to insert/remove it.

You can get a special V bracket that can mount all sorts of accessories such as lights and mics and then camera then mount the bracket on the tripod. Might just do that. It's a bit excessive though.

Jim: [consoling Bart] What did you expect? "Welcome, sonny"? "Make yourself at home"? "Marry my daughter"? You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons.
