Coke just tastes much better to me. I've never had a properly carbonated Pepsi, in any form.

I grew up a Pepsi guy. Dad preferred Coke. Mom, Pepsi. Both me and my sister like Pepsi. I switched to Diet Pepsi some 30 years ago.

Totally forgot, picked this up at the post office today. Ebay purchase. Was like under $100 shipped, could not pass that up. 1500va! Totally overkill, but it's for when I want to play with mains stuff, I will now have isolation so I don't blow up my scope if I put the ground probe in the wrong place.



The variac I also got recently but since it's an autotransformer it has no isolation. Will probably setup the transformer in 480v mode and then connect it to variac output. I eventually want to build it as a self contained power supply with some fancy controls on the front and what not.

I get this weird metallic taste in my mouth and ringing in my ears when I drink diet soda. I had it for a month until it got too bad. My doctor told me about aspartame reacting terribly for some people, and I fit so I quit diet drinks. I tested the theory with Big League Chew bubble gum and felt like I was dying!

Canadian Coke tastes better than Pepsi. In the States I drink Pepsi cuz it is the same taste as here but coke tastes like crap.

I have an odd urge to go back to work on my shed but it's kinda late now and I'd have to resetup everything. Even though I worked slowly I did seem to be on a roll today, things were going decently well and the weather could not have been better. I hope that rain tomorrow passes, every time I look at the forecast it seems to be leaning closer to being snow, but I think it's going to be rain then snow, that is actually the worse, it wrecks everything such as the car. Creates this weird crusty snow surface. I'm still trying to get that stuff off the car from a few weeks ago. I chip away at it a bit at a time. This is where having a large heated garage with proper floor/drainage system would be awesome.

Was playing with my new transformer. This thing uses 1 amp just idle LOL. I don't actually have any loads to put on it to give it a good test. I need to build a dummy load for this sort of thing.

No filter on this. Take note of the plastic illuminated Israeli flag. They're everywhere, even in cities that aren't major tourist attractions. If you think you see a lot of USA flags, Israel is much, much worse.
