You might "need" an electrician to do something but I know I always do my own electrical.![]()
So that is how you went from brunette to redhead

Coffee nef. It's the first time since I can remember where I'm up this early on a non work day or otherwise a day where I don't have to be up early. My goal is to start on the shed by like 9-10. I was going to call it quits for the season but figured I'd use my last day off to at very least get the trusses up so that all framing is done. Well I'm off tomorrow too but it's suppose to rain. Yeah wtf is this shit, it's November!
With the trusses up , you could put the tarp over the whole shed ! You have once again inspired Me , Red Squirrel , I'm going to work on my shed today. On the one hand , I already have a tarp covering Mine... at very least get the trusses up so that all framing is done.
Get the roof up first.

I've got literally Nothing done in the last two weeks ... Nef'ing at all.
Trusses are what hold the roof. But yeah if I can get that done it will help a lot. I'll put tar paper on it and it should be decently protected. I might sheet the walls anyway even with all the ice on some of the studs. I can just re-tighten the screws in spring when the ice melts and it leaves a gap.
Spray hot tar on roof :awe:
While I was building the trusses I was actually thinking that, a flat roof would be so much easier.Add one or two 2x4's on one side to give it a very slight slope, then lay down some 2x8 rafters, sheet, and tar the crap out of it. Better surface area for solar panels too.... dang maybe that's what I should have done actually. Flat roofs are a pita though. The water stains on the DSLAMs at work are a reminder of that.
That was a fun night.
