@Red Squirrel some 4k monitors are now under $400 USD.

AKA $600 for me. Though I think I'm going to go towards the 32" range if I go with one, more I think about it, if I go too small stuff might be hard to read without scaling and if I scale it kinda defeats the purpose.

Since 4k TVs are cheaper I may also chance that. Think I'm going to wait though, I have some other stuff I want to spend money on like a new water heater so I can break my rental contract.
