Got asked if I can go in tomorrow, they ran into a situation, maybe someone else is sick or something. Said I could probably make it. Got my rest, at least. With enough drugs I can still sleep the night.

I can blow my nose all I want, but it's so plugged up it just makes it worse, nothing actually comes out.

Wonder what happens if I hookup a vacuum pump to one of my nostrils. I need to find an old fridge compressor or something.

I'm at work now. Not sure if drugs are fully in action, or if the cold is actually getting better, but nose is slightly less bad now.

If it does get bad, we do have a huge compressor here to keep air in all the cables. I'm sure they won't mind if a bit of mucus makes it's way in there, now where is the intake port on this thing.... It's only like 30 PSI or something. Child's play. :p

But seriously though I hope this cold just freaking goes away. Feeling not bad now, but it typically goes back to crap the next morning. Usually once one thing is better another thing starts, I did not really cough much, so that might be the next thing. I just hope it does not develop into strep throat. That's typically what I end up with at this time of year.

I know you were being facetious...but wanted to point out that it takes no more than 12 PSI to remove bits off your face (eyes ears etc). 30 PSI may seem low, but is still very dangerous.

Of air or solid object hitting with that much force? I've pointed my 130PSI compressor at my face before, I guess that's a bad idea?

Actually I wonder how much PSI would be safe to suck with out of the nose. I could see a market for a mucus suction pump for colds. I'm thinking a few PSI at most. Though there is probably more pressure produced when blowing your nose, so if that does not cut it I'm not sure a pump that is powerful enough would be safe.

At one point I was so plugged up I had mucus coming out of my eyes.
