I freaking hate having a cold. Wish they would come up with a vaccination for that. I'd take it every year. IMO it's worse than the flu, at least the flu only lasts a few days, colds drag on for weeks of suffering. I just want this thing to be gone, but I'm only on day 2.

B&W is the best speaker company

Good yes but best? Not a chance!

In the late 80s I was in a studio and they were trying 801s from B & W and KEF 107s. The 107s were clearly more defined in the lower range and could really handle the lower registers the FM resolution 801 amps were throwing them.

The single vented 12" driver was not as tight as the isobarik 10s in each 107 bass bin.

The 801's tweeters sounded better on the modified CJ Premier 5Bs (yes a valve amp) but the Mr. Fincham knew the shortcomings of a single cloth dome and this was addressed in the second revision of the 107.

They were amazing speakers.

I have a set of 801s, and I have a set of 104/2's from KEF which I love dearly. The 801s are clearly better, though the 104/2's are in a lower class than the 107s. I admit I haven't heard the 107s but they certainly don't have the reputation that the B&W 801s do. Hope I have an opportunity to hear the 107s some day...

Just got some Sudo at the drug store, had no idea they still sold that, figured they stopped because of the meth heads. This stuff has to be pretty good, max of 1 tablet per 4 hours. It broke in a few pieces when I was taking it out so ended up mixing a lot of it as a powder in the water to wash the two other pieces down. Nasal congestion relief is hopefully on the way.
