Oh I've done plenty of 120v stuff, just did not quite want to do that at work. :biggrin:

Come to think of it I need to try that at home. A 15 amp electromagnet. Just need enough turns to bring the resistance to about 8 ohms. :biggrin:

Of course it's more fun if you keep it at a fraction of an ohm using supercooled #2 wire and you can shoot a nail into lower earth orbit.

At home after last night shift.

Friday I am going for LASIK. Sick and tired of glasses and finally grew a pair of balls to get the surgery done. Nervous as hell but excited at same time. I just hope the results end up perfect and that I don't get any complications. I've heard some of the complications have been so bad that some people have committed suicide. The eye dryness one apparently is extremely bad. I don't think I have to worry about dry eyes though. My eyes water like crazy just thinking about the fact that I'm going to get my eye balls touched.
