Ruby can you send an ice cutter up to clear out my driveway?

If ice is that bad perhaps you should have resistance heaters installed. When the threat of ice occurs, just throw the switch. It will pull some amps but the surface will stay nice and warm.

Whenever I redo my driveway I want to coil up some thick gauge cable, so I can eventually hook it up to a high frequency high current power supply. After burning down a couple cars and ripping satellites out of space a few times, I should be able to tune it just right to keep the car nice and toasty and melt all the snow around it. :p

At least, in theory, I think it would work. My 100 amp panel might not cut it though.

Generators can supply much more. You could probably put a 35,000hp gas turbine in your back yard! ;)

Snowed last night. Gotta take care of that before the ridiculously cold temps arrive. Probably should run some last-minute errands too, as I won't be leaving the house for the next 3 days except to go to work. :\

Got the car unstuck.

Still too lazy to go grocery shopping. Might have to resort to foraging soon.

I still have to shovel my driveway from the last snow fall we had, and we got more snow now. i also need to widen it, it's getting ridiculous trying to park in there.

I have to go somewhere today but think when I get back I'll take the rest of the day to do that. It's only -20 out so it's a good day to do it, not as cold. I imagine it's going to take several hours if I decide to widen it as well. I could probably go several feet on both sides. If the snow breaks up in large chunks it will make it easier though.

Today I heard a nasty scratching sound on a road and turned to look at it. Front Driver side tire flat on a FWD vehicle and the driver kept driving and normal speed
