I had a bit of a crush on one of my teachers I had throughout college. I didn't realize she was late 40's though. She don't exactly look young, but not old either. She do look damn good though.
I'd always joke that I was gonna steal her away from her husband.

I pulled the pictures from wikipedia...
That was a precursor to this nonsense.

She would been 42 when I started college. :hmm:

so going to bomb this certification test today, but whatever.

I know what I need to know to actually do my job, but at the end of the day, I'm not really a storage architect or unix admin... I need to know how to do shit like grow volumes, present LUN's, and do basic system management. it sounds like this test (at the conclusion of this godawful training class) is going to be all about describing the underlying technologies that are, frankly, above my head.

I hate tests. I know how to make things work, just don't ask me really obscure specific details on it, because 1: they're not really useful to know off hand and I probably will never have to care about them, and 2: I can look them up if I have to. 😛

I remember bombing most Cisco tests in college, even though I am pretty decent at figuring stuff out if I'm on a switch or router and have to make it do something. I'd get like 60 on the written part and 100 on hands on lol.

Lab: configure a nic
Test: describe how networks operate and how nics move bits from one point to another

/face palm... I really want to just say fuck this shit and leave. I swear to fucking god, this instructor is scheduling more break/lunch time than class.
