Annoying when boss starts working on a computer, then just leaves it sitting around in pieces. Then doesn't put it back together before end of the day.

Had a customer come in requesting their shit back, where was all disassembled. Putting stuff back together, that I didn't disassemble myself, is even worse. Told them to come back in 2 hours. This isn't going to be fun at all.
Looks bad too.
If I'm working on dismantling laptops, I always use the last hour of the day to put it back together.

Thats why I liked Tektronix. Every step of every job is accounted for. Nobody goes fucking with someone elses electronics.

If a hdd was in raid, then entire configuration was thrown out of wack. Would the disc that was secondary to whatever raid configuration not appear in BIOS, or any computers as an external, at all? Anything?
This whole hdd being invisible to everything is scary. Especially since this issue happened in our care when began working on it.
