Wow. The newer G35x, post-update, gets a far weaker rear sway bar (which makes it very easy to upgrade), picks up .04g on the skid, and is .9 seconds faster to 60. That's... significant.

If it supports it and you actually need the features that ddwrt offers. Tomato is better though. ;)

please explain to me, in little words, what I need that stock doesn't have.

I'm sure there is something I want that I do not know exists

What do you want to do that the stock router doesn't do?
Do you need to have multiple wans, isolation, or require gre support for inbound PPTP tunnels? Traffic metering, SNMP traps, etc? SSH server?

If none of that makes sense just connect it and use it as is! :p

Bane must conclude the best decision is to purchase another set of 17x7 wheels, mount the current 215/55R17, and keep driving.

There's a set of five web, ten spoke, 17x7 G37 wheels with tires in my local area for $500 obo. Something about them makes me uneasy, the seller that is, and I'm not so sure of the ten spoke look.

The nearest seven spoke 17x7 I could find also has tires on them, but those are down in NJ for $400.
