Staples had (has?) the Brother HL-2280DW on sale for $99 and it has a scanner/copier built-in.

For the most part, I think toner cartridges last a long, long time as long as they're not in a really humid environment.

I would buy from Newegg or Amazon. I will never set foot in a Staples again after their manager tried to be a super salesman on me over a $15 warranty. Sucks because I always do my son's school shopping there. I drop $200-300 there every summer.

I spend a decent amount of money there. I've never returned a damn thing. Yet when I'm trying to spend $150 on a printer, the manager wants to bash me because I said no (10 times) to his warranty?

I'd rather support a company that takes care of their customers.
