Ford has a 2.0 I4 offering upwards of 170 HP and 150 ft-lbs, with an Ecoboost to follow.

That's pretty respectable for an N/A motor.

If I end up typing through every single entry, I fail to see the distinction.

Huge difference. What sdifox is saying is to take the existing database and convert/transform/manipulate the data so you can directly import it into the new DB without having to type them in manually.

I do not believe I will be able to do that. I'm using FileMaker, on a limited access account, on a computer that cannot have software installed or updated.

that is sort of my point... Try to manipulate data through sql or even in excel or access. Manual re-entry often time means introducing error.

:D how limited is your filemaker account.? Can you create new queries or import export data? Is there a spreadsheet software on that machine?
