I think Schottenheimer Jr. leaving the Jets voluntarily (if we take the story at face value) may mean that Marty Ball might be back, this time in Tampa.

Teams like the Jags, Rams, and Raiders are stupid not to hire a guy like Marty Schottenheimer. The Chargers were super dumb for getting rid of him but keeping a loser like Turner.

And I'm getting a huge database project later!

The plan is that, at the leisure of the person assigning it, he will just show up here, and I'm supposed to be here, not be busy doing anything, so that the project can be explained and started.

No, I don't have any more details than that.

Yes, I would think it should be something that some sort of query/script should do it quickly and effortlessly.

No, I haven't the foggiest clue how to implement such a concept.

Colts have hired a new GM. Ryan Grigson, player personnel director for the Eagles, has reportedly been hired. I imagine Caldwell's fate will be known within a week or so.

Database containing basic information for all employees who have ever worked here; it is all being entered into a new version with slightly different organization.

what do you mean entered? I hope you mean transformed and loaded right?

And that doesn't sound huge.

Entered, transformed, loaded, how am I supposed to know the difference?

To me, it's huge, I've accessed it once before. If I'm actually manually typing everything across as I suspect, it's going to take a long time.

If you're leet you can take a bar reader out of a scanner, tape it on a screen and capture the scroll to an ipod, upload it to a new DSN, profit. $40M in about an hour.
