No, just whatever came stock. I am a member on the North American Chevy fan club, but not a whole lot of activity there.

The back 2 windows came tinted like that from the factory. I believe you can have any darkness there in the back, just not super reflective.

I'll start looking around town for ceramic tints.

Stock is okay then. A projector retrofit would make you a happy man at night though. :D

So, you can load up the back windows and rear glass, but really, they're DOT-dark, I don't think you're going to see much, if any, improvement.

As for the front, check what your factory level is, but from the coloration in the picture, you might already be around that 70% mark.

Back from class, got my homework done in an hour.

Teacher seems just fine. He claims to have worked with the father of math for several years. Accent isnt too difficult. Only downside is he teaches elsewhere so he's got shitty office hours at my campus. And since the class starts at 8 & he just strolls right in, theres no grabbing him right before if you need some help.

I really hope the fronts aren't already 70%
I am happy with the backs as they are. Assuming my front windows don't have anything on them, will shops tint pass the legal limit? If 70% is the limit of passable light, would they do 60-65% something just a little darker but probably not noticable to a cop?

I believe most shops will do anything you pay them for, but they'll make sure you understand if you get in trouble, it's not their fault. But I don't know for sure; some may not want the potential of having a cop or customer come after them for doing illegal work.

That's something you'd have to ask a shop, and if you find a good shop, they can discuss with you whether it's worth the difficulty, et cetera.

I would expect a shop to have a tint testing device of their own, similar to what cops carry, which they can use to confirm what your factory tint is, and to confirm what the final value is after the tint has been applied.

Ya, I would think 99% of the time a cop is only going to write you up for illegal tint if it is obvious it is waaaaay too dark.
