The mods are kinda screwed right now. If they sit back and do nothing further, there's going to be some really negative arguments, and more information is going to be spread around. If they keep banning as is, which is, IMO, the most likely continuation, it'll still take a day, maybe two, before it'll get shut down with a total of I'd guess a dozen bans. If they right now ban everybody who is protesting strenuously, they'll make more enemies in the process, as well as wiping out a ton of really high activity posters. Really, it's a lose/lose/lose all around for everyone.
