Found a picture of somebody who did a quad projector retrofit, with clear directional lamps, and one CCFL/LED angel eye.

I can't figure out what his configuration is though. How does he do flash to pass from cold start on the lights? Somehow wire the angel eye to flash? I'm puzzled.

As a lighting configuration goes though, he's using Lexus RX low beam in the top bay (which is a tiny projector), and FX-R bixenon in the lower bay... so he gets a TON of light.

Ever since I've gotten the G, I've started to get enjoyment from peaceful night time drives, so getting some super serious lights seems like a good goal.

Maybe now my room is cool enough for sleeping though, so night neffers!

I'm feeling a bit under the weather (irony with a rain storm?), so I came home early. Now I'm hiding in my nice warm room and chugging down water.

The air conditioner has to come out of the window, I think it's the reason for this, all that cold air getting in overnight.

Other notes regarding a projector retrofit:
TSX or RX/TSX-R low only projectors in the upper bay will almost certainly surpass the low beam mode of the FX-R 2.0 in lower bay.
The FX-R 2.0 high beam mode in lower bay will almost certainly surpass the high beam mode of the bihalogen now in lower bay.

TSX or RX lows in the upper bay using 50W Morimoto combos will have more light than FX-R 2.0 in lower bay with 85122+ 35W. However, it should then be considered that the 50W Morimoto will have a lesser lifespan, and the 85122+ is a better bulb series than the Morimoto product lineup. It should also be considered that if there is a second projector set in the lower bay at 35W, having a 50W top bay becomes excessive, a 35W top bay would be plenty sufficient. Finally, 50W may be overbright.

Indeed, any quad projector combination, even using 35W bulbs, may end up being overly bright, and probably excessive.

I also had entertained the possibility to pointing all or some of the projectors outwards towards the road sides, but it then occurred to me the cut off would not match up to each other, and at the left edge, might even be troublesome to other drivers.

The 85122+ is supposed to be superior in every way... except that TRS says the Morimoto bulbs have an edge in reliability. Also, the Morimoto bulbs are nearly half the price.

It should also be noted that these bulbs have 1000-2000 hour total lifespan. With my driving habits, IF the bulbs were run continuously, that would be 2-4 years. Under 50W operation, it would drop by roughly 30%. However, these lights should not be used as DRL (for the lifespan reason), so if only used when needed, their longevity is apt to double.
