972 sq ft is smaller than my new patio -- the housing prices in California are still over the top and ridiculous. I was looking in the Bay area and a comparable house to mine was like $4 million on average. I was like WTF?!?!

I think enough leaks have emerged to paint a bad picture for AMD. I posted a thread in the motherboard forum to help me pick one. Hopefully I'll order this week, but Amazon is OOS on the 2600K right now.

Because I want it, that's why. 😀 I have considered the 2500K and still may actually go that route but I really like the 2600K.

I'll be running development VMs on this box too in all likelihood, so I suppose I should compare VM performance and see how much of a difference HT makes.
