Don't want micro ATX and I'm not sure about overclocking on that board.

Overclocking..? Unless you are looking to post 4.8Ghz or above then pretty much ANY 1155 motherboard will do just fine, SB hit's 4.5Ghz so easily it isnt even funny. 4.6-4.7 with cooling and luck. It is a fully featured m-ATX, only downside is it wont fit in a case that has no m-ATX standoffs (unlikely)

Space is no problem in my case, so I'd prefer full ATX.

That's just it...why pay more for ATX when all it does is take up more space.... you dont GAIN anything out of it.

Also, there is a reason that the best overclocking boards are more expensive. I don't need awesome overclocking but I do want to buy a mid-range board at a minimum.

I have a Rampage Formula now and it is an awesome board with cool features. I just don't want to pay that much again.

Sigh, look in general hardware, we have literally 50+ threads of people buying 100-150 dollar 1155 motherboards and being able to clock the CPU's to 4.5Ghz and above. Easily. If the 3 slots make that much of a difference then spend the 100+ dollars, im just trying to get the best bang for buck while retaining quality, that wasn't the cheapest Z68 motherboard available.

Indy doesn't seem like the guy who upgrades his mobo+cpu every year. For a person like him a standard atx is worth the extra $100 with those features...

Really? So you took into account the power phases? What about Bios differences? Heatsinks on the VRMs/chipset/etc?

I am not opposed to a mid-range board. I am not going with mATX though.
