Yeah, I printed it out and highlighted it for myself. Figures that you need the remote control for the up & down arrows to select that, you would think you should be able to do it w/ the main unit itself :hmm:

I wasn't waiting for BD to buy it. Waiting for BD to change Intel pricing :awe:

Well, I was waiting for either to happen but that does not look like it will happen.

Thanks AMD. Thanks !!!! Grrr.....

nope. most units have to be configured through remote. some do have an analogue/digital switch on the unit though.

They are supposed to have some sort of announcement next week so I'll wait for that but then I think I'll settle on a board and be done with it. I COULD wait, but I have all these new parts sitting around my house and IMO, all signs point to BD being a disappointment and I think a 2600K will last me 3 to 4 years.

I just helped a coworker buy parts for a gaming pc, and we were back and forth about BD but we decided that getting the 2500k, which is a known performer, is better than waiting forever.

I have the following new parts sitting at home: 120 GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM, a new power supply, and a new DVD burner (got it free but I plan on reusing mine). The only things I need are board, CPU, and hard drive(s) and I am set.

I really could (and probably should) wait but my upgrade itch needs to be scratched. My Touchpad purchase (sorry fox!) helped pacify it for awhile but now I am feeling it again.

I only had my coworker pick up 8gb of ram (4x2) and figure he can grab another 8 a year down the road if he feels his system needs it (probably won't). Nice to finally have a coworker that games though :D
