In total, without traffic, it's two hours of driving, to go from work to blue to silver to home.

With traffic... I don't want to know.

Without stopping for the silver, it'd be maybe thirty minutes shorter.

Blue closes at 8 PM, silver closes at 9 PM.

The I35 is there... but I don't feel like getting that over the Mazda if I like the Mazda, and if I don't like the Mazda... I'm more inclined to just pause the car search.

I'm just not enthusiastic about the I35. Nice feature - it's got a whole lot of motor to it.

I should test drive it, because it's not a bad backup.

But I'd rather just keep looking and try to find something else.

But what else? Another '04 G35x if it appears at a reputable dealership?

Can't call them back, and their voicemail system is a joke. So I can't tell the guy I won't be there to test drive the I35. If somebody answered their phone I would!

So now it's test drive the Mazda 6S tomorrow, if I like it, great, it comes home with me, if I don't, oh well, the search gets paused, and I keep driving the well-broken Grand Prix. Or more of the search continues indefinitely in hopes something crops up.

I need a real fucking job.

I'm not super enthusiastic about the Mazda... but at least it's a car, it should hold together just fine, I'll master driving stick, it'll be more fun than mine (right?), and in three years, it should still be worth $7000 (after paying $13k).

...I'm not sure if I want to like the Mazda or not like the Mazda now.

Fuck.

A nice thing about buying from a private seller... they aren't really concerned about profit margin.

KBB, Mazda 6, three body options. Sedan, Hatchback, Wagon. 11 options under sedan, a few under each of the others. Hey, Mazda... TOO MANY FREAKING SUBLINES!

The Mazda 6S is priced just under $13000.

The current trade-in value is around $11250.

The projected trade-in three years from now (meaning I should finally be graduating, and have paid off the car loan) is about $7000.

$13000 - $2000 (trade), times 1.0625 (sales tax), plus a couple hundred for fees, about $12000. Less the cash of $6000 makes a $6000 loan, which means $178/month payments. :/

The remaining money is locked in the stock account, all the stocks are down so I don't want to sell them right now.

If they ever recover, it could reach around $4000 for the whole account... but that's assuming the economy does something good. :/

Got another possible.

2004 Mazda 6S, black/black leather. It's the older seat design that might/seems to be better for me. 5MT FWD 3.0 V6. Moonroof.

It also looks a lot better. From the pictures, the lines and shape of the car look more like mine. Long, low, and wide.

Why don't I see the same impression from the later ones?
