Why would you do that? You can do direct reads/writes/etc to Sharepoint lists/libraries using the Sharepoint API (no direct SQL writes!!). I know, because we have Java apps that tie into one of our huge Sharepoint applications and display saved documents and allow users to upload documents through that interface.

because it's a part of the universe I have no control over. I am just passing parameters.

Yeah, it should be possible using the Sharepoint API. All you would need is to know the list ID the form is dumping its data into and you could then use the proper Sharepoint web service(s) to write to it using whatever code you want.

How bad is that kinda work? I have an uncle who does that for oracle (i think)

or I just tell the team responsible for the app to give me a link to pass parameters to and that is all the work I need to do 😎

Sales is feast or famine, but you can make a ton of money when the feast is on. I'd imagine the easiest way to get into sales would be to either have a business degree or for technical sales, get the experience and then perhaps move to a BA role and then into a sales role.
