Tried to wake up at 8, fell asleep again, cleaners arrived at 9. Now I'm stuck here, and it's a new girl getting training, so I expect three hours. Fucking hell.

I use my personal laptop for slacking, and installing stuff I don't want on my desktop.

I enjoy being able to work from a bench outside or go to Starbucks. The mobility is nice. Idk who ended up with my dell. They do have a 17inch i7 MacBook pro that no one uses. :hmm;

Me too. Though 14 inches is the biggest screen size I can tolerate for this.

My work computer is a 2003-04 Dell, it's really quite awful.

My laptop is only a 13.3", so the screen is small, plus the keyboard/mouse is the typical laptop affair, tiny and uncomfortable. I'd also be concerned about theft when I leave the room.

I bought the laptop with college in mind, i.e. taking it to class. I did so a handful of times, and paid zero attention to the class.

In retrospect, I would've been better off with something bigger, a 15" or so.
