This week, I attempted to make a Hawaiian pizza again. Yes, I've done it before. It's been a while. There are challenges. The moisture from the pineapple inhibits the dough from cooking normally. So, I decided to grill some fresh pineapple. I used a rub of brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Grilled each side for about 5 minutes. Cut up a couple slices into smaller pieces for the pie. Cooked up a half-pound of bacon last night. Then, cooked some thick-sliced deli black forest ham in the bacon fat. Got that out of the way last night. (My own) tomato sauce, fresh grated Parmesan, fresh shredded low moisture whole milk mozzarella and provolone. It all came together. Super delicious!

While I have no desire to go to Russia, I would like to see this in person.

BTW, the plane is at a park located south of Derbent, Dagestan, Russia. The plane was supposed to be towed to a planned park in town but the tow job went bad with the plane stranded short of its destination. So the Russians built the park around it.

Fun. My power just went out and it was a super dirty cut too, it flickered a lot and went on and off a few times before cutting off. Guessing a branch hit the line somewhere and the recloser kicked in a few times then locked out.

Sure glad I upgraded to dual conversion UPS as I don't think my old UPS would have survived this hit. It was not a very clean cut.

Another camera install done. Got one for the driveway now. Quality is pretty decent. Next one will be the porch and oversee whoever is at the door and hopefully have enough width to get another angle of the driveway. Still need to decide what software to go with, original plan was Zone Minder as it's easy to setup but it's garbage. Looking at Frigate but it's a bit more involved to setup as it involves Docker so it's an extra layer of complexity to deal with, and everything is done through config files which is kinda meh. But the front end to look at footage etc looks pretty good. The whole point of this is to be able to record but for now just focusing on getting them actually physically installed.
