Ah never heard about those

They're pretty uncommon. Xenon is a pain for most companies; it doesn't like fast reheat to flash the bulbs, ballasts are expensive, et cetera. So the luxury cars introduced Xenon lights (yes, Ruby, I know, shhhh). Before the mainstream lines followed up, projectors suddenly started catching on, and they blow reflectors out of the water. So the luxury cars took those, xenon reflectors died after only about 5-6 years, and now projectors are expanding to take over the mainstream car market too, with 6 years behind them.

I know some old MB's had 'em, BMW, I don't know any of the older Audis to know one way or the other. I know Infiniti had them. Lexus, don't think so. Don't know Acura very well, but I don't think so.

I'm hoping the mini will be similar

It will be smaller than your RDX projectors.

Your RDX, if it was a single xenon, was probably a TSX design. If it was a bixenon light, it was probably based on the TL.

The Minis are smaller than the TSX's. The TL is one of the largest designs in existence. You can get full dimensions for all of these projectors at TRS.

The first thing I do when buying a car is tint. Love it.
MP3 input... lmao you're going to need a good source ;)

I have a Sansa Clip+, and in a pinch, a Droid TBolt on CM7.

In my Grand Prix, I had the Sansa going through a tape converter into the aux on the stereo. The sound quality was just fine for me. I'll be fine on sources.

And, as a bixenon projector, the TL is one of the few things with any edge over the FX-R, but for cost or size, nothing compares on FX-R for performance. TL is really expensive, they're phenomenal.

No, I'm not bugging you on choosing Minis.

Completely understand. I just had a very though guide on the Mini project. Also they were cheaper.
