Package left Georgia, expected to be here delivered in MA on Thursday.

Unless it's by air, I don't think that's possible.

Well, it's about an 18 hour drive.

12 hours ago, I have a departure scan and in transit to status. At 9 PM it had an origin scan... so origin scan, goes into the system, packages load into truck for three hours, all packages are scanned as they load, then their data gets updated simultaneously, right around the time the truck is finished and moving out. I guess that seems reasonable.

So if the truck truly did pull out of the warehouse at nearly 1 AM, then it'll be at the UPS distro tonight between 6 and 9. That's... an incredible distance to travel in just 18 hours.

And if it arrives at the distro, it could feasibly be delivered... well, tomorrow?

So yeah, I guess Thursday works, figuring that the truck may not have actually left at 1 AM, more likely 5, it may take more than 18 hours to drive it, and unloading takes time too.

I need to read all of Maus by Thursday. It's ridiculous. Another freaking Holocaust book, but this one uses mice as Jews, cats as Nazis, and everything else as pigs.

Then Lexus and the Olive Tree by Tuesday. It's basically another modern political and economic theory book, and just as with the Holocaust, I know this stuff already.

Work in 2.5 hours.

This should be entertaining.

I spent almost three hours rearranging the stockroom the last time I was in... I expect to have many comments about it.

I also expect to find that somebody has already made a terrible mess of it.

Every time they let me go play in the stockroom, for every hour I spend out there, I can organize about half an aisle.
