So, one week of seeing the driveway then back to whiteout?

I find winters start a bit later now, we can usually get through October without any snow, sometimes even November.

The issue is the summers seem to start later as well. I remember when it used to start in April/May but now it's more like mid June.

I'm playing Wolf - The New Colossus and noticed

that the lab workers in the Nazi lab on Venus are all either Han or Japanese. At this point in the timeline, China and Japan are vassal states to Germany. Everyone else on the Nazi side is caucasian.

Been pricing out solar for the house again. I can get a half decent setup for under 10 grand. It's kind of tempting. Around 2.5kw and 10kwh of battery and 3kw inverter. Would be enough to do the server room and probably lot of other loads like fridge, freezer etc. Save on hydro and also have a good backup.

If I bought property I'd eventually transfer that stuff over to it.

I'm best saving my money though. Need to pay off that credit line. Got a bit over 9k left. As is I have 70k available so if I do find a property I want to leave that open.

Really hoping I start seeing more stuff go for sale this summer. Maybe the market has been slow because it's winter and because of covid. If not this summer hopefully next summer I get something.

I'm not a fan of the quality. We'll see after we use them.

Prowl got an upgrade to her sleeping quarters. The old cat bed was dirty. I vacuum it often. It just got worn out. So, found her a more comfortable bed for her aging bones. It's a medium dog bed. It's has more cushion, more space and a rubberized underside.

My cat would ruin that within a week. I had to stop buying her fancy beds. Now I just lay down a towel and put it through the wash once a week.

Sucks to be your cat. I had to kick her off of my bed because my allergies have been bad recently. I always thought it was only at the hottest time of the year with the kitties. Anyways, just crushed up some catnip so she'll be comfortable with it. You know how cats are.

Do you think that Nvidia can design a 3080Ti and have it gimped for mining? I wish. I would buy that! (if I could)

I think it's stupid trying to gimp cards or making mining only cards that will end up in the landfill. Just make more normal ones FFS. Build a new fab, get better supply chains, do something. There is a product that people want, so meet that demand. It's not hard. You would think they would be interested in making more money by selling more cards. They've had a good 3+ years to figure something out. Mining is not new.

I find most companies are terrible at that now. Anytime something new is released it's basically a paper launch.

Who is going to pay for the fab when mining crashes?
