Crazy they have not ramped up production to make more sales which means more money. I guess they are worried all these cards end up on the used market then nobody buys any for a while. I hate the idea of the mining only cards because it's terrible for the environment, at least using GPUs, they can be repurposed after.

Ultimately though I think crypto does need to move away from PoW to PoS or other system since the way mining works is wasteful in itself. I did it for a while and I was making a bit of money but the lack of GPUs made it pointless. To go big I'd also need a serious upgrade on my power setup. If ever I buy an off grid property I might revisit it. In summer I'll have a crazy amount of excess power, may as well put it into doing something semi useful. Could use Bitcoin ASICs to heat water or something lol. Setup a hot tub powered by Bitcoin.

Charlies Angels just made a claim and I have no idea how to verify its factualness.
In 1979 Los Angeles the street value of pure heroin is 1000 dollars a gram.

Is that possible?

I seem to recall in Pulp Fiction they stated it was valued at 300 to 500 dollars a gram in 1994.

Only one snow fall and already got a pretty big hill going on lol.

Pictures don't really do it justice, but it's almost over my head. Each scoop I have to run up to dump it. Quite the workout.

I shaved off some height on the hill though, going to see if I can build up a ramp going further into the yard. The snow should pack down enough that I can walk on it. Gives me more area to dump it without having to run up so high.

In Crocodile Dundee Sue said it was a couple of hundred dollar of cocaine and that was a lot more than a gram.

I just splurged and bought an electric snowblower, will see how this works with the snow we get.

It's mostly as a backup anyway. In spring I'll have to figure out what's wrong with my gas one. I think it's the carb or spark plug. Just too cold to play around with that stuff without an insulated/heated garage. That is my project this year.

I redeemed $350 worth of HD gift cards off my Mastercard points so that covered most of it.

My tax return is on the way too, I usually use that to splurge on something but this year I'll just put it towards the credit line.

At some point I want to convert my gas one to electric. Price of lithim cells needs to come down drastically to make it worth it though.

It seems to do half decent, probably not as good as gas but still usable.

This is like a worse case scenario since it's the really nasty wet stuff and seems to be doing half decent:

We rarely get that kind of snow here and even the gas one struggles with that.

When we got 2-3 feet at once then that will be a big of a challenge though. I normally wait until the storm is over before doing the driveway but with the electric I'll probably want to go do it in middle of the storm instead of letting it accumulate.
