You should try a credit union, with your spending you'll singlehandedly triple their profits lol. Though I don't know how that works if they get a percentage or what. Since they still tend to use a 3rd party for the credit cards. Mine is with Collabria Mastercard.

So tonight is the big night I guess for the US. I wish I didn't work tomorrow so I could stay up to watch the whole thing. Though by the time I go to bed I think I'll probably have a good idea what way it will go.

spoke to the supervisor, who realised how much is at stake. She could not update the system either but she is going to chase down IT to fix it. So it will get resolved.

What a morning.

So on my last shift at the office I did not double check that I would be the only 12h guy today. Turns out I was not, which means I am to work from home as the one who is on a longer stretch of 12s stays at the office. So when I got to the office and realized that I grabbed my PC and went back home.

Got hit with Windows update when I plugged in at home... I was already running late and now that. 30 minutes later after some waiting I manage to get the PC to boot into Windows. I login, and bam, now my corporate account is locked out. It does that all the time after a fresh boot, it's ridiculous. So I can't get into anything that relies on the corporate account. After a couple hours it usually unlocks on it's own but still super annoying.

In other news... today is the big day where I get to talk to the lawyer about the property I might buy. If my concerns about mineral/tree rights are not an issue I will start the process to actually buy.

So any moment now I should get a call from my lawyer office to discuss the property... it's getting more real!

Basically I have a few concerns pertaining to mineral and timber rights which the property does not come with, if those are non issues or can be easily solved, then I'll buy it.
