Is Paint 3D the worst program MS has ever published? How does one update a program written in the mid-nineties and still manage to take a step backwards in function?

Got an estimate to finish removal of my tree and remove another tree that's also dying - that one is a harder one, even for him he said it will be a challenge. $1800+ tax . Was more than I was hoping but after doing a good chunk of it myself I also know how much work it is especially in the heat.

Very tempted to put a 55k offer on a 65k property. 55k is my absolute max available credit right now, with a bit of contingency for fees like land transfer tax etc. I feel it's kinda low ball though. But it has been on the market for about a month now, which is a long time for a property like that. They usually go fast.

I think I will go see it on one of my days off and if I like the area I might go for it. I won't be able to afford to build anything on it but there is already a cabin and dug well, so there's that. Makes for a good start. I can dig an outhouse and more or less be set for camping.

Once the stock market goes back to normal in the next few years or so hopefully then I can cash in a chunk of my ESPP to pay off the credit line. Got 32k in there right now at current stock value.

Well that's freaky. I randomly remembered that I applied for the Starlink beta and decided I should check my spam folder just in case I may have missed an email from them over the last little while. I open my email and no joke, there is a 5 minute old email sitting in my inbox from Starlink. It's to add my address since the original form only asked for postal code.

I hope I get picked as a beta tester it would be really cool to test that... especially if I do decide to buy a bush property. I kinda hope they give a permanent discount to beta testers.
