I don't think we have a Liberal candidate running for our area. Looks like it's between PC or NDP. I usually vote NDP anyway. There is a green one that might be running though.

Just finished properly redoing my laminated beams for the deck, that took longer than I thought. Should have done it right from get go since I probably didn't save much time there doing it twice. I originally put them together real quick so the wood does not go crooked.

Today is my last day off so figured it was not worth going further. I'll wait till I have a bunch of days off again then I can continue. It finally stopped raining, hopefully this will last till next time I am off. That will be in a couple weeks...

Hate modern "jeans" they wear out easily

50 dollar jeans last much longer than 10 dollar jeans.
Something to think about.

Of course, if you tend to abuse yourself during the day maybe its better to get lots of cheap clothing and replace it frequently.

no, not really. I have expensive jeans as well, and no they don't last longer. I sit at an office chair, it's pretty easy on wear. And it is never the butt area being worn out, always around the knees.

stupid vanity sizing. buy a 36" waist short and it falls off me while my normal 36" pants fit correctly. Gonna have to carry a tailor's measuring tape from now on.

I have never worn out knees in jeans, not for about 30 years.
As a child, I think once.

My seat always wears out first and I toss them before anything else can wear.

Shrug. I have won jeans for at least forty years. I remember how sturdy they were. Now it's all spandex crap.

I have NEVER purchased jeans with spandex.

Where are you shopping?
Lol they all have spandex now. Some more than others.

Tell me of a brand that is original jeans material. The kind that is stiff as a board until you wash it twice to get rid of its smell.

I remeber going up to the highest peak in Taiwan, not all the way up of course, and see snow when I was a kid. Had jeans on, slid on the snow and left blue streak in the snow...
