Actually based on the radar it seems to be practically over. There's one small section that will hit us soon and that's it. Got maybe like 1cm.

Though maybe the big one is actually suppose to be Sunday during the day.

I guess I was way off about that storm. It's actually starting now. The radar stuff I saw must have been a separate small system.

Guess I'll be digging myself out so I can drive home.

Woah that snow is coming down fast. Wipers could hardly keep up on way home, and it was hard backing in to the driveway as I could not see through back window. No point in stopping to brush it as by the time I get back in the car it was covered again.

Going to be a fun one getting to work tonight. Probably going to be super busy too.

Two companies release foldable phones, both of which are really cool, and the techies whine and whine and whine.

Do you not have one?

No, don't really have a place to store stuff like that, need pickup and trailer too to bring it to the trail. Would be fun though, but I'd want a bigger property to start getting into those toys. Probably get a quad too. If you keep to your own property you don't need insurance and all that stuff either.

Though they are actually doing a trial of allowing them on the streets, so it would make it a bit more attractive as it would make it easier to get to the trails without needing a pickup/trailer. But still need insurance, trail pass etc, and our winters are so sporadic. Like this winter would be awesome for sledding, but lot of our winters the season has been very short.

I really need to start looking into a side gig though to make more money, lots of stuff I do want to do, but life is so short to wait until I can save up. Looking at a 40 acre river front property for 40k. Very tempting. I need to find out how restrictive they are about what you can build though. I heard that if you want to build anything you typically need engineered plans and whole 9 yards. Big bucks and lots of red tape involved in that. Hopefully for such a rural property you don't need all that jazz.

Then I'd build a big ass garage, and then buy lots of toys. :D

It's fun to dream... :p

My biggest more realistic dream right now though is to finish my garage and turn it into a shop. That was the goal of the shed, so all the stuff in the garage can be moved. Doing that this summer and been mentally planing it. Once I have a proper shop to work in, I'll be able to do lot of interesting hobby stuff like build things. Could vlog it too. Lot of maker channels out there, worth a shot. MAYBE that can be my side gig. :p Not easy but something fun to try at least. I just need to do more hobby stuff so I think this is going to be a great thing either way. I keep saying to myself "I should do this I should do that" but without a proper heated shop area it's never going to happen.

Deposited 5k worth of corporate shares a while back so got the money for that project. Just need to wait for things to warm up so I can start preparing. I'm actually quite hyped about this project. Whatever money is left over after will be going towards a deck. Been without a deck for at leat 5 years now lol. I just never ended up rebuilding it after I got the weeping tiles redone.
