Capt. Kirk is on.
The Lights of Zetar is not of good episode. Might have to switch over to PBS.

They are begging, again. Ergo, they have become VH-1. It was doo wop earlier. The sixties are next.

I dunno, I didn't go into Burger King. But, you know what they put on French fries in Holland instead of ketchup?

🙂

Might be moo-naise

🙂

Might try some climbing today. I have a lowish dead branch in one of my walnuts, and it would be a good candidate for drt rope climbing. It's not that high, and I have a good crotch to run my rope through. If I really screw it up, it's not /that/ far to the ground. Problem is I've been hitting the whiskey(and ouzo). Getting good and fucked up isn't the right way to start a climb :^/
Debating whether or not to try some climbing today. Supposed to be warmer than yesterday, and it's more humid, though not terrible atm. Not sure I'm up to hauling my ass up a tree. Maybe I'll go get some more beer and ouzo instead. Decisions, decisions...

Cut the tree down.

Cut the tree down.
That's later this year. I have between one and three trees that need to come down. First one's gonna be my practice for climbing spurs. Second one is next to a neighbor's shed. That'll be after I get some practice rigging. The apple tree I just noticed isn't looking good. I'll try some aggressive pruning before that comes out.

The one I'm thinking of today is just a dead walnut limb. The tree's capable of taking care of itself, and will drop it when ready. I'm just using it as an excuse to get some easy low consequence practice in. It's only ~12' up, so if I screw it up, it's not the end of (my)world.
