This forum is dead lately.

Heading to bed nef. As a side note I have a huge scratch right down my wrist and I have no idea how it got there, it's kinda alarming considering I'm going through depression. I hope people don't think I tried to suicide lol, because that would be a pretty sad attempt. :p

A couple days ago I was splitting/stacking some of the maple I cut at work. I don't like seeing wood wasted, and I'm hoping if I put it in nice piles, the boss' daughter will use it in her fireplace, or perhaps his girlfriend can sell small bundles of it.

Anyway, I'm working by the tree, and hear a goose honk close by. I don't pay that much attention. I'm near a pond, and a bunch of horse fields. No real shocker to hear a goose. I hear it again, and look up expecting to see a goose flying overhead. No goose. Huh... Get back to work, and there's the goose honk. WTF?! I stop, and really look around. On top of the snag where this section of tree came from, there was a goose nesting in the middle ~10' up. I've never seen that before in my life. The draftsman looked it up online, and apparently geese sometimes nest in trees. Who knew? Those babies are gonna have a rugged first step :^D

At the nest this morning. This is one of the chicks I thought had died. The other one is buried in there somewhere. I have to get pics when the light isn't quite good enough as mom mantles the chicks when the light is better. In a week or so, they'll be big enough not to need that anymore.

Working nef.

Debating what to order for lunch. Trying to keep it semi healthy but options are kinda limited when ordering something. Might do fish and chips and try to have the will power to say "no" to "do you want to make it a poutine?".

If you're trying to eat heatlhier, why are you not bringing your own lunch?

When on 12h shifts don't really have much time to prepare anything that can be microwaved. Normally I just go home for lunch but can't on weekends.

Ended up ordering pasta from Dominos.

I have a bunch of fruit and veggies here to munch on anyway so not like it's the only thing I'll eat.
