My corp finance prof is from greece. In fact we didn't have class during the 1st week because he was there doing some consulting work there.

It's too bad that the collapse of a country like Greece could end up 'dominoing' into another global recession. Wonderful culture, food, people, but financially they are the 32nd largest economy in the world. Not exactly close to top 10.

My father just got this B&D power drill set as an early Christmas present from my grandfather.

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brow...d+Drill+Driver+with+Accessories.jsp?locale=en

He won it at some kind of local charity auction for something like $30. Usually he doesn't give out anything for presents anymore since he lives on very little now that he's in a home. But he had no use for this and wanted to give it to one of us. Anyone have any idea of the quality of this kit? It looks not 1/2 bad in person actually!

Krap.

1 NiCd battery??? 115 in/lb of torque is laughable.

570 in/lb with 2 3.0ah Li-Ion battery

I vote for DeWalt if you need portable battery powered tools. Ridgid also makes some great stuff, so does Milwaukee.

Hitachi goes to second tier. Makita is worse. Porter Cable is going downhill.

DeWalt=B&D...

Brand doesn't matter, product line does.
