Bought a $2 scratch off today (a rarity) with my gas. Won $40! Pretty good evening. Pays for my beer and nice lunch with the missus.

I don't play it for a little prize. I want to win the jackpot. So, if I buy one it is for the big lotteries. And then it's just one ticket, not $10 or $20 worth. I think it's a sucker's bet. But someone wins now and then and I feel it's like throwing my name into a hat. I'll throw away $1 or $2 when the jackpot gets huge. Even if it's just to be able to think for a few days, "What would I do with all that money?"

My wife is mad that I let my beer cat lick the neck of my beer bottle. He likes the taste and I think it's funny. I don't let him drink any. He just licks whatever foam is left on the neck. To me, he's just one of the guys.
