Two of them are even louder :D

My case has:
2x 180mm
5x 120mm
1x 120mm on the CPU and another 180mm

I hope that isn't in the same room you have to sleep in! My system is. Luckily it's quite quiet. The case helps a lot there though. Let's see I have

4x120mm case fans
1x120mm + 1x140mm on the CPU HSF

It is in the same room. I turn my computer off at night. Trying to save money on utilities. Brought our bill down from $110 a piece to $70. My gf's apartment (next to mine) doesn't have a HT setup or large computers and her bill was $68. I think we're doing good.

I love the noctua it's awesome. I have yet to OC my i7... Need to get around to it

DAYUUM

Seagate 5900RPM 2TB Green HDD. How much do you think these cost now?

I remember selling these suckers for <$70.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...%202TB%20Green

$229

Currently it's cheaper to buy them off NCIX in Canada, though at 170 they aren't cheap either.

I was going to buy HDDs but then realized I don't need any. I do have seagate replacing my Momentus XT 500 gb from my MBP. It failed SMART

Damn it! Answer me!

Sorry was playing a game. Are the two cards bridged with an SLI bridge? I'm a little rusty on this since I haven't put together an SLI setup but from what I remember when you have the cards bridged and running in SLI mode in the drivers only the ports on one card remain active. And you can only run 2 monitor off any card that doesn't have a displayport output.

Just because the bridge is installed doesn't force it to run in SLI. (it's installed) Once you enable SLI in Win7 Nvidia control panal it forces you to drop the one monitor on the 2nd card.

When I'm in OS X (90% of the time) it's running the CUDA drivers from Nvidia as two separate cards. Partly because Nvidia doesn't do SLI in OSX

Card 1:
DevicePath = PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)
Card 2:
DevicePath = PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

I disable that crap. Can't stand any kind of animation or trollbead buttons.

For windows 7 since it's just for games I use the classic desktop with a solid black desktop. I hate the stupid snap animation. Pisses me off

Ok right. What threw me for a loop was this statement of yours:

"In windows I have two cards running. One with the game the other with monitors and crap."

I pictured it as having all 3 monitors up and running at the same time with the game playing on 1 of 2 IN SLI and the other monitor still showing a desktop. That didn't make sense to me :p
